On Thursday, April 18, opening night performances for the 2019 Dance Salad Festival include Ashley Bouder and Joaquin De Luz of New York City Ballet performing De Triana a Sevilla (choreography by Victor Ullate); Spellbound Contemporary Ballet of Rome, Italy performing Full Moon (curated for DSF with choreography by Mauro Astofli); Susanna Leinonen Company of Helsinki, Finland performing Shame/less (curated for DSF), based on Nasty (choreography by Susanna Leinonen); Sokvannara Sar of Carolina Ballet of Raleigh, North Carolina performing Mopey (excerpt with choreography by Marco Goecke); Maria Kochetkova with Sebastian Kloborg of Denmark performing New Suite (excerpt with choreography by William Forsythe); and Donlon Dance Collective of Berlin, Germany performing Strokes Through the Tail (choreography by Marguerite Donlon).
