On Saturday, Dec. 9, 2017, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., the Houston Downtown Management District partners with Tracy Carlson Photography and Crush Design Co. to present the Heartmade Holiday Market at Main Street Square, located at Main and McKinney in the heart of Downtown Houston.
The event is free to attend, and all booth fees benefit Hoof Prints and Heart Beats, a volunteer-run organization that offers free equine therapy and equine-enhanced counseling to children and adults with special needs.
This is the first ever Heartmade Holiday Market, following two successful spring markets in 2016 and 2017.
The winter event will feature food truck fare; a children’s imagination station presented by Young Audiences of Houston; photo opportunities with Santa under Trumpet Flower, a site-specific sculpture and shade canopy by Houston artist Patrick Renner with the Flying Carpet Collective; and music including a DJ and strolling Christmas carolers.
