The guys behind Houston’s under-the-radar Aerosol Warfare have been supporting the city’s graffiti scene for nearly 20 years. What started with a quarterly video magazine in the 1990s—and collaborations with nonprofits like DiverseWorks, Spacetaker and Lawndale Art Center—eventually led to the opening of the EaDo district gallery.
Owned by Gonzo247, the appointment-only spot blends art studio, exhibitions and urban art education into a vortex of creativity and energetic output. Aerosol Warfare specializes in the Aerosol, Graffiti, Outsider, Street and Hip Hop Arts while appreciating all art forms.
Aerosol Warfare focuses on sharing personal knowledge and experiences with the community and like-minded, young and emerging artists. Catch up with the artists of Aerosol Warfare at this studio to see what spray-paint based art project, event collaboration, video production or out-there installation they have going on.
