Shop to Benefit Second Ward Fire Victims

Council Member Karla Cisneros, Christina Morales of Morales Funeral Home, and Christian Navarro of the Original Villa Arcos are hosting a pop-up resale shop, silent auction & raffle benefiting the victims of the May 4th warehouse fire that affected nearby residents in Houston’s Second Ward.

The silent auction includes Houston Rockets Playoff Tickets, Astros game tickets, and Houston Dynamo Tickets. They will also be honoring the Houston Fire Department and First Responders for their hard work and dedication to the community.

Inspired by the resurgence of 90s popular culture in fashion, music, and iconography, Youth of a Nation offers a nostalgic retrospective of the decade through ten dances by acclaimed Houston choreographers, including Sarah Brotherton, Cori Miller Capetillo, Laura Harrell, Bryan Paul (Inertia), Ty’Esha Lewis (Inertia), Jennifer Hart Salter, Tory Pierce, and Heather VonReichbauer.
