DESCRIPTION:Fort Bend County Libraries will celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a festive performance by Ballet Folklorico Herencia Mexicana de Houston on Saturday\, September 21\, from 11:00 to 11:30 am\, in the outdoor Jodie E. Stavinoha Amphitheater at George Memorial Library\, located at 1001 Golfview in Richmond\, Texas.\nA cultural institution dedicated to preserving and promoting Mexican folkloric dance\, Ballet Folklorico Herencia Mexicana de Houston will treat the audience to a colorful\, cultural performance that showcases the vestuario (or costumes) and dances from the Avasteca region of Mexico\, along with the state of Jalisco. Enjoy traditional Mexican dance and music at this festive event and stay afterwards for pictures and Q&A with the performers!\nPart of the On Stage at the George series\, this performance is sponsored by the Friends of George Memorial Library.\nThe performance will be presented in an outdoor amphitheater and seating is concrete. Glass containers\, alcoholic beverages\, and popcorn are not allowed in the amphitheater.\nThe program is free and open to the public.
