SUMMARY:January 10 to February 8\, 2025 Exhibitions
DESCRIPTION:BOX13 ArtSpace is pleased to present four new exhibitions opening Friday January 10\, 2025 6pm to 9pm.\nAs we ring in 2025\, we wanted to kick the year off with an exhibition in our Front BOX gallery to introduce all our current members to the public. We have lots of bright and shiny new artists who have recently joined our family. Come out and help us celebrate all the wonderful talent currently at Box13. Back BOX gallery “Fries” by San Antonio artist Michael Guerra Foerster is an interactive ceramic exhibition located in the Back Box that features vibrantly colorful ceramic works that employ fantastical\, absurd\, and bizarre imagery and interactive elements to explore big feelings on grief\, love\, desire\, and masculinity. Molly Sydnor presents “After the Rain Part 1” in the Window BOX gallery for her first ever showing of work in Houston Texas. These handwoven textiles aim to hypnotize viewers and challenge your perception of color theory. Finally in our Upstairs BOX Gallery will feature current member Peter Broz. His show “Out of Touch in the Wild” is a collection of two-dimensional works that explores the fine line between fear and excitement and how those feelings coincide with our experiences in nature. This mix of enchantment and terror is what peaks my interest the most.\nThe exhibitions continue through February 8\, 2025. An Opening Reception will be held on Friday January 10\, 2025 6pm to 9pm at BOX13 ArtSpace\, 6700 Harrisburg\, Houston\, TX 77011.\nA special thank you to Houston Arts Alliance \, the Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs\, The Brown Foundation and all who have helped to support our programing.

SUMMARY:January 11 to February 8\, 2025 Exhibitions
Gallery Hours Saturdays 1-5PM at BOX13 ArtSpace\, 6700 Harrisburg\, Houston\, TX 77011.\nA special thank you to Houston Arts Alliance \, the Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs\, The Brown Foundation and all who have helped to support our programing.
