East End Foundation Presents: PIŅATAFEST

A community event in the East End Cultural District coinciding with Cinco de Mayo, Piņatafest celebrates the ancient cultural tradition of piņata-making and the long-lived presence throughout the 2nd Ward. The event will showcase traditional and contemporary piņatas in a public setting, host live music performances and offer many free family-friendly activities.

Mason Park Needs Your Help to Earn a $20,000 Makeover

You may recall our ask last year to cast your vote to help earn a $20,000 award to the East End's own Ingrando Park. The good news is that you listened, you voted, and thanks to your help, Ingrando Park received funding for new futsal court from a Meet Me at the Park grant. Well the great news keeps coming: the Meet Me at the Park program is back and our very own Mason Park has been nominated for its own $20,000 makeover!
