Houston has been building a great food truck scene in recent years, garnering national attention from aficionados of these rolling restaurants. But the city has lacked a steady place to find good food trucks. Enter the Houston Food Park, which opened for business in mid-summer 2013 offering space to vendors on wheels.
The park allows trucks to rent space in its EaDo lot at the corner of St. Emanuel and Bell streets. There isn’t a set schedule per se, but rather the park is dependent on trucks to commit to their space. There are tables and chairs and a bit of shade for those hot summer days.
The park’s hours vary depending on the trucks that come in, but its open weekends for lunch and dinner and typically open for lunch on weekdays.
