Post-Studio Projects
Post-Studio Projects is a hybrid experimental art space combining an art gallery, member-based laser cutting studio, and artist residency programs. The gallery focuses on emerging artists from Houston and beyond. Their member-based laser studio provides access to a powerful, user-friendly laser cutter that can be used for a wide variety of applications. They currently house two different artist residency programs. Post-Studio Projects’ Site-Specific Residency is mobile in nature and pops up in alternative spaces across the country, giving artists time and space to complete a site-specific project. Their Teaching Artist Residency offers artists subsidized studio space in exchange for teaching classes or curating shows in our gallery. In addition to programs for artists, they have a variety of classes for adults and youth. Above all, their goal is to create opportunities for creative and professional development for artists and to strengthen artists connection to the community.
