You may recall our ask last year to cast your vote to help earn a $20,000 award to the East End’s own Ingrando Park. The good news is that you listened, you voted, and thanks to your help, Ingrando Park received funding for new futsal court from a Meet Me at the Park grant.
Well the great news keeps coming: the Meet Me at the Park program is back and our very own Mason Park has been nominated for its own $20,000 makeover!

The National Recreation and Park Association, in collaboration with Disney, ABC, ESPN, and Freeform, is expanding the Meet Me at the Park program to provide communities with resources to improve local parks through projects that connect kids with nature, inspire healthy living and increase access to sports.
This year, they’ve made it even easier. You have the option of voting online, or can simply text MASON to 35350 to vote*
If selected, The largest multi-purpose sports field at Mason Park will be repaired from damage due to heavy use to better serve local leagues that rely on this field. Over 2000 players use this field every month for practice and games.
