April 13 @ 11:30 am - 1:30 pm

Come listen to author Michael Croissant discuss his book “Bombing Hitler’s Hometown” on April 13th at the Lone Star Flight Museum.
“Bombing Hitler’s Hometown” is a riveting, true story of the perilous mission to bomb Germany’s most symbolic stronghold – A must for fans of WWII air warfare, “Masters of the Air” and “A Wing and a Prayer.”
“Bombing Hitler’s Hometown: The Untold Story of the Last Mass Bomber Raid of World War II in Europe” (on sale March 26, 2024) puts the reader directly into the cockpits of B-24 and B-17 heavy bombers that flew this vital and dangerous mission, as well as the perspectives of Austrian soldiers and civilians under the bombs who were caught up in events beyond their control. Expertly blending interviews with survivors along with archival research, this is a gripping, detailed, moving epic that pays tribute to the thousands of soldiers involved in the Allied air war over Europe.
