Lemonade Day is an educational program that teaches youth how to start, own, and operate their own business…a lemonade stand. Youth are introduced to lessons such as goal setting, planning, budgeting, finding an investor, creating a lemonade recipe, choosing a location, advertising, building a stand, running a business, and reporting results. This free, experiential program culminates in an event that the entire community can celebrate …Lemonade Day! On this day, youth set up their lemonade stands throughout the city and open for business, they are then encouraged to continue to grow their business for years to come.
