Mindfulness Essentials for Stress Reduction (In Person)

This interactive, five-week series provides an introduction to mindfulness meditation and mindful awareness practices, with a view to taking the edge off. Experience the process of grounding your mind in your body – through breath, sound, and body sensations, while in stillness and while moving – and learn practices for being with physical pain, emotional challenges, and difficult thinking. Join us as we explore the benefits of mindfulness: decreases in stress and anxiety, improvements in attention and the ability to regulate our emotions and behavior, and increases in our general well-being.
