Women in the Visual and Literary Arts (WiVLA) is excited to announce that its 2024 Biennial Collaboration, one of WiVLA’s hallmark events, will be hosted at Sabine Street Studios North Gallery from September 12 through November 2. The Biennial Collaboration, which began in 1994, enables a visual or performance artist to collaborate with a literary artist to produce new work based on a chosen theme. The theme for the 2024 collaboration is “Entangled”.
For 30 years and counting, WiVLA has been a hub of inspiration and learning. It’s where imaginative women connect, find diverse opportunities to express their creativity, and learn from one another in workshops, monthly meetings, exhibitions, and literary readings. Join us on Friday, September 20, for a special gathering wherein the collaborative duos will present and discuss their collaborative works.
