Join us for the final installment of Bayou Preservation Association’s Resiliency At-Home Summer Workshop Series—a hands-on summer program designed to equip you with nature-based tools that promote a more resilient home and a healthier Houston.
Rainwater Harvesting Workshop – Saturday, August 16
Led by Master Gardener Teresa See
Harness the power of rain! Discover how rainwater harvesting reduces runoff, supports native landscaping, and helps protect our bayous. Master Gardener Teresa will guide you through practical methods for collecting rainwater and provide advice on setting up your own rain barrel system at home.
Bonus! A limited number of rain barrels will be raffled off during the workshop (winners will need basic tools for home installation).
This is the third workshop in a three-part Saturday series (June–August), each concentrating on a different facet of holistic water sustainability. The workshops are free and open to the public, featuring engaging activities and take-home resources to support your journey.
